It is on the corner of a road and it is quite easy to assume the entrance will be off the highway but instead you have to turn into the road before it. The place has no pool or hut tub and has a small but effective fitness center. The breakfast was not very edible unless you wanted cereal or fruit. The kitchen is understaffed which might contribute to the lack of protein options that were made the morning of. The room was sufficient for what I needed it for. It had all the necessities plus more. Although I think the hotel is in need of some upgrades like the toilet, elevator and decor. For a hotel, this is descent but it seemed a little high for what they were offering. I also stayed there in the summer, so that might explain the high price.
The hotel was clean, quiet and most of the staff was very professional. We did have an issue with the provided breakfast on one of the mornings. There was no warm food remaining in the serving trays, and the hotel clerk said she would investigate. 5 minutes later, she returned to the front counter, but totally ignored us, and did not provide any update on the food status. We ended up having breakfast elsewhere.
This is an okay place for a quick stay. It is hard to find healthy options over an extended stay because breakfast is the same every day. Adding some variety to breakfast would be great. They also charged if you forgot to turn in your room key which I found as odd.
Good place for the price. Comfortable beds. Larger rooms than a standard hotel room, so it easily fit 2 adults and 3 kids with 1 kid on the floor. Breakfast was decent. Showers had really bad water pressure.
This hotel had bed bugs. I discovered the next day I was COVERED in bites. I'm shocked that their infestation was this bad and had gone unchecked. Do yourself a favour and pay the extra to stay at the coast or best western plus. It's not worth the risk. In credit to them, they did refund me my night's stay. However given that I may have to replace my mattress and other things now, that's sort of the least they could do.
