The hotel is a clean and decent apartment style hotel with good features in suite. There are really no other amenities. No fitness room or pool for example. The location is a bit odd as the street it's on is used as overflow parking for the ferry terminal. At busy times it will be lined with vehicles for many blocks and while traffic is well managed by ferry staff there is no getting around the fact of all the activity on the road for long stretches some days.

Clean and comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable. Good location with about a 30min walk to downtown. A little noisy at times as its right on the main road, but having the rooms at the back of the suites helps alot (quiet enough for our infant son to sleep, just bring something to black out the rooms if needed).
Dave and Marlene are great people. They will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The hotel has Comfortable, Clean and Quiet rooms. I would highly recommend to anyone passing through Nanaimo looking for a cost effective place to stay.
