If you can afford it over 30 per night in summer VERY NICE you feel like you are at home with a kitchen
Two big thumbs down. I booked in April for the nights of July 22 departing on July 23 and July 28 departing July 29, 2018. It took me a long time to get the communication correct that it was for 2 nights only. I was quoted $67,00. I got a call June 23 asking if I needed the room I responded not until July 22. Well they charged my credit card $67.00 for the night. Ok so be it. When I called to double check reservations July 19, 2018 they had the nights correct but it was now going to cost $100.00 per night. I said I was quoted $67.00 per night dead silence on there end. Then I was told my credit card would be charged as they needed 48 hours advance notice. Lets do the math July 19 cancel booked the room for July 22. I felt these people were shysters and couldnt be trusted. I had to cancel my credit card to be sure I wouldnt be charged. I was extremely happy with going to Air B and B. Awesome places for way less money. People that could communicate and willing to give you a ride even!!! Painted Turtle looks like a dump. Go Air B and B. Far better places for much less money.
Excellent location, within easy walking distance to all the best attractions. The kitchen diner is an outstanding addition to the facilities included in the price. All the staff it makes vooston it's promise.
The Painted Turtle is located downtown in a nice old building and provides basic hostel-like hotel accommodations, including shared kitchen and lounging area. It also has a meeting room which my non-profit uses for board meetings. The Painted Turtle is budget-minded accommodation for locals and tourists.
Great atmosphere! Lots of stairs, so just be aware that most rooms are on the 3rd floor. Best dorm beds of any hostel I've ever stayed in. Common room is very pleasant.
