I searched all over Nanaimo for a particular spice I needed and as soon as I walked into Taj Mahal Spices they had bags of it! Such a clean, organized store with everything I needed fresh and well priced. I'll be going back for sure!

We pick up their curry spice mix and masala when we are in Nanaimo. Their spices are worth the trip. Too bad they aren't closer to Duncan.Update: The last time we visited the store they were out of the mild curry mix. The owner went in the back to mix up some spices and made us up a couple of packages. This new batch was far inferior in flavour to the excellent curry spice mixes we had previously bought off the shelf. Even the colour was different. We could have picked up similar quality curry spices at our local Superstore and saved money as well.
