Really friendly service. Smaller hardware store, but quite a good selection of items you need every day.
Excellent home hardware. We were visiting from out of town and we needed camping supplies. Staff were helpful, knowledgeable and very patient when we came back three times for things we'd missed. When they were missing a product, the gentleman who helped us hunted down alternatives. All around great store.
I like that we still have a locally owned hardware store in Nanaimo. It is easy to park and enter here. You don't have to walk a mile in the store, easy in and out. They have pretty much everything you need for fixing and repairing at home. My only feedback would be that staff could be more personable and friendly. Not bad, but feels too transactional and less personable at times.
Remember when you walked into a store and all the Staff were super helpful and friendly. It was packed to the gills with all sorts of things you forgot you needed? Widgets, shoe polish, an impossible stain remover ,that actually worked? WE LOVE OUR HOME HARDWARE STORE at Brooks Landing. It is the best, old fashioned, good service store in Nanaimo...PERIOD! ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS
