Love the new seats, however.....I miss the large popcorn and pop refills. They say it's a hygiene issue but AVALON gives free large popcorn and pop refills. The Avalon gives you a new bag when you get your refill. Even with the comfy seats at the Galaxy, I always check Avalon movies first. With the price of popcorn and pop, I prefer the Avalon with their refillable pop and popcorn!
First experience was incredible. You pick your seats at the ticket booth. Big reclining comfortable seats with lots of leg room so people don't have to shimmy down the isle to get to their seat. Great food selection and friendly staff. If you haven't tried Galaxy Cinema you're doing movies wrong. Prices are a little higher but well worth it compared to the Rialto theatre in Courtenay which is terrible!
We enjoy going her as they have reclining seats and multiple movies to choose from. The theater has a gaming room to keep kids entertained. Even big kids (adults) can partake in them. The popcorn is one of the better places as well. Each theater is a bit on the smaller side so make sure to arrive early to make sure to get your seats
Love the seats in this theater. They are so comfy to sit in. We will go on a cheap night Tuesday if we want to see a good movie. The only thing I didn't like about this theater is the price of buying any food there. A small popcorn is $6.49. You wanna put butter on it, add another 50cents. A small pop 4.49. Can you say "RIPOFF". Never again will I buy food from there. Whoever makes these prices are absolutely ridiculous.
Seriously a top notch experience to view a film. The massive lazy boy style recliners are just about as good as it gets. I have always wondered what they put on their popcorn. It's way to pricy but tastes amazing. One day I will bring corn on the cob in and ask them to butter it for me
