What an amazing service for those of us living on Vancouver Island who shop Ikea! This collection point is conveniently located and easy to get to ... staff was obliging and friendly - excellent work!! At half the cost of shipping directly to my business in Qualicum Beach, I certainly don't mind driving the short distance to pick it up ... thanks, IKEA!
Great to have products delivered to the island but the hours are so restricted. 10-2 Monday to Friday ONLY. Tough to find.

Purchased a kitchen from Ikea. Because of previous comments, wanted to scout out the location before going to pick up. Printed a map from Google and followed directions by others. Once on Boban, just past Smokin George's, you'll see a driveway on the right and a small Ikea sign. Once in the warehouse section, veer to the left and go around the last set of buildings. Once you see Canem, you're in the right place. Ikea's bay is at the end and there is plenty of great signage. Items arrived right on schedule. Pick up was quick and easy. We arrived at 9:50am and were finished at 10:10. The two employees (one was CJ) that were working there were pleasant and helpful. Was a little apprehensive about signing the release form without carefully checking everything, but once home found everything was perfect! What a great setup. And all for $79. You can't beat that! Thanks Ikea!
If you have the opportunity to go to a different pick-up location, do so. Firstly, there was no easily visible signage for their warehouse. Secondly, when we arrived no one greeted us. Thirdly, when loading the furniture, an employee driving a forklift carelessly dropped our table which cracked it. Finally, when driving back an hour and a half home, we realized they gave us 2 of the same box, leaving out the second box that was necessary to build the unit. Unprofessional, inaccurate, etc. Hopefully IKEA can step in and help this pick-up branch improve.
